This painting by Autumn Skye Morrison really illuminates something for me in my own ongoing journey as well as the journeys of so many.

This ‘shelter in the storm’ feeling is held by our deepening connection to our Divine Self and the Divine Itself. We hold the Light and the Love inside of us. It can never be extinguished or taken. Only hidden, forgotten, or given away.

This Divine Self cultivation is not easy with all that is occurring outside of us and inside of us as represented by the waves and the lightning. It is an inner storm that we are ultimately at odds with. In my past, I was the storm rather than relating to the storm.

I have been working for many years on healing the layers that have kept me from fully letting this Divine Self and Divine Love into my BEing. So many layers of unworth, self-doubt, and even fear of my own power.

These layers were energies that were held by parts of me that were stuck in some form of trauma, pain, and judgement from this-life wounding. They were (and to some degree still are) also layers of soul aspects that have been through their own trauma as well as misuse and abuse of power. A guilt-shame spiral that as lived in my Metasoul.

These parts and aspects have needed the time and space needed to unfurl their own healing, forgiveness, and letting in of love from my space-holders, myself, and the Divine. It is a process that takes the time it takes even if it feels we are running out of it.

We have been so deeply entrenched in and entangled with the Matrix to the point we have replaced our own Divinity with it. It has become difficult for these parts and aspects to sense life outside of it even as much as they desperately want to feel that at the same time. It is a ‘spaghetti pretzel’ that has been created and it takes time, courage, and soul choice to engage in its unplugging.

There are thick layers of protection, from our Inner Protector, and veils of forgetting, from our Gatekeeper, that have been placed in the way for very good reasons. They are not band-aids to be ripped off, but rather lovingly melted off by the power of grace and love. As these layers are felt and moved through our spiritual, emotional and physical bodies, they find a safe haven in our heart and expanded consciousness.

Our Christened Ambassador Self becomes more revealed to us and more embodied. It feels and chooses differently than we did in our past consciousness. It creates a boundary that healthfully protects, yet also beacons and receives. I am continuing to feel this in myself more and more with each movement along the spiral of healing and illumination that has come from this deep work.

From my Divine heart and soul’s perspective there is nothing more needed than this inner work to occur layer by layer. Self-loving choice by self-loving choice as well as challenge by challenge. This is what allows us to come from this brave and centered place. Our circumstances are calling this Being forward into the world each and every day.

The power of Love is greater than the love of Power.
