Opting For The Heaven You Don’t Know

Opting for the Heaven you don’t know, over the Hell that you do know, will call upon everything in you.

Deep in our essence, we know love in the profoundest sense, yet we struggle to feel it and know it in an everyday sense. We are love. We are heaven. But we took a forgetful journey to the far away land of love’s lack in order to grow into more of love’s ever expanding infinity.

This is where you find yourself now, feeling far away from love, yet actually BEing this love, while feeling the parts of yourself and others that are not yet reconciled to this love that we all are.

You are love, yet you experience hell.

The craziness of this will constantly incline you to attempt to make many temporary and false heavens out of the hell you are actually in. When you live in the forest, you make your house out of wood.

If you want to get to know more of the real heaven that you don’t yet know in your everyday experience, you are going to have to spend some of that bank account that you are holding onto of the hell you do know.

The hell you know is the currency that will buy you the heaven you don’t know, what you really want, if you are willing to spend it.

This will require admitting that the hell you are in, is in fact a hell; that you are willing to leave it; and that you want help to find your way out. If that isn’t true for you yet, you simply aren’t done with your sacred chosen hell and what the time there is meant to bring you.

This will also require that you are willing to authorize a resource(s) that you recognize as being part of your emerging heaven to assist you, guide you…that they represent your higher self, your heaven, in physical form, a projection and manifestation of this future you.

This will require feeling the painful gap between where you are now and where you long to be, and all that this gap is meant to alchemize in you.

If you are at this place, you have entered the place of true adventure, where the first step is actually as grand as the last step, as they are all steps on the same sacred journey, where none is more meaningful than any other.

If you feel like you are not at this place, see if this feels like you, or instead a part of you, and then see if you are ready to show up for this part of you and the hell they find themselves in.

We Are All Deeply Enculturated

Every last one of us has been deeply enculturated.

We’re left with taking responsibility for the cults we find ourselves in.

The first cult we were subjected to, seemingly by our own choice, was the cult of ‘the individuated out from divine source’. This cult left us with a kind of bi-polar disorder of on one hand fearing being returned to source against our will and having our individuality taken from us, and on the other hand, fearing not being able to ever find our way back to oneness source, left in a hell of separation and individuation forever.

Talk about having all the bells and whistles of having been in what feels like a harmful cult! Our hangups, anger, hatred and dysfunctions suddenly make a lot of sense. Could anything be more painful than losing your awareness of your true identity, leaving you and I out begging life for any kind of substitute scraps of survival forms of love that can be had?

Eventually, as we come to take responsibility for this first cult and the many other cults that we’ve wandered into and find ourselves in, we come to discover that while it most deeply feels like we are separate and separated, we never actually were. We come to see that we are in fact as close as we ever can and will be, and all that is awakening is only a realization of what IS, and not any kind of attainment of anything that isn’t already.

We are left with the task of attaining what already is.

We need all the dramas of life and relationship as the story and culture setting to get us to the moral of the story which is LOVE, not as an injunction to dutifully ‘be more loving’, but as a dawning awareness of the essence of what you and I already are and always were, leading to just simply and truly being the love that we are. The only injunction we’re really left with is ‘just be yourself’.

The deeper awareness in all of this that WE CHOSE this as the soul beings we are, calls us to feel all there is to feel in reaction to our present awakening. Only now can we begin to feel these roots of all of our dysfunctions and querks both related to being human, as well as related to being birthed into being a soul. Only now can we begin to feel and take responsibility for our true awesome power.

It’s like we’ve travelled to a far country, with strange language, weird food, and customs. We don’t know how to be here and we don’t know where to find what we desire as familiar love. When we do find something that feels familiar, that feels like family, we often find that the comfort it once gave no longer does. Our deep inborn hunger for love calls us on to seek new forms and experiences of the love that we are. We find ourselves again invited into new forms of cult and culture, given our bents for attachment and our needs for love. Now, we can take conscious responsibility for what we choose and for what we most deeply want; a new culture of love.

We didn’t come here for any kind of instant fix. You were never broken in fact. If anything, you were fixed in love and wanted to unfix yourself being the explorer of the infinite love that you are. You and I came here having it all and we couldn’t help ourselves but to want more. We came here for a process. We came here for relationships. We came here to feel and heal all there is to feel.

Is It Safe To Want More?

‘Is it safe to want more?’

‘Can I actually have what I most deeply want?’

‘Isn’t gratitude for what I have the opposite of wanting more?’

These questions repeatedly come to anyone who chooses to awaken their emotional body? They came to me again last night as I felt another layer of what I so deeply want.

To learn of deep abounding beauty that you don’t normally experience is to subject yourself to longing and despair that you don’t currently have that in your life. It takes big courage just to awaken that far. To then set out to obtain that deep beauty as your living reality is to call on resources of courage and choice that will surely be tested and tried moving forward.

How much easier and understandable it is for the masses to choose to remain asleep to desire. In moments, you are tempted to choose the path of the masses if you had any inkling that it could actually work for you.

You know you are here for more. You know that’s ‘just what is’ in your relationship to life. You also know any spirituality that offers the killing of your desire in the name of ‘overcoming attachment’ won’t work for you. You want more and you know it.

But life doesn’t actually offer you any kind of unconditional guarantee that you will obtain the desire of your quest for more, in exchange for your willingness to want so deeply. What life does offer you however, is the opportunity to embrace, and be in the aliveness of your desire for more. This is where the meaning is felt and found. I am a living breathing ‘wanter’.

I get to be in want.

I am a lover of love and love is so infinite and so multi-faceted that in surrendering to being in love’s want, I am sure to always be wanting something more than what I currently have, as beautiful, and even super-abundant as my current reality may be, and may go on to become.

We came from infinite source ‘having it all’ and yet we wanted more. So we came here, to be in lack, and want, to feel all there is to feel about this paradox. I am The All out wanting more.

I do get to fully enjoy every fulfilled desire along the way. I get to be in gratitude for both my wants AND what my wants have brought me. Every attachment that I ever clutched onto for as long as I did, be it a healthy or an unhealthy attachment, was really for me simply LOVE, in the way that it was, for the time that it was. It may no longer be love for me as I move on to deeper experiences of love, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t deep and abounding love in the way and time that it was.

In fact, everything that I ever wanted and will ever want is simply love. Love is the source of all. I’m told that you and I can have all that we are ready and willing to let in, AND, when and as we are ready for it, we can have it TOGETHER too, in community.

How’s that for a deal? How’s that for a new world order? You and I get to be the deepest experiencers of love as we are willing to be in love’s deepest want.

SoulFullHeart Patreon Money UPdate – May & June, 2018

My goodness, we have been enjoying a new and rising money tideline and timeline these past two months and I wanted to tell you about it.

In the past few months, we have been able to purchase a whole list of goodies, over and above our regular living expenses. It took me a while to remember them all.

  • 1 new iPad
  • 3 new to us, Macbook Pros
  • A new set of sorely needed 4 tires for Vida – our Van
  • A new battery for Vida
  • Dentist cleanings and checkups for all five of us
  • Passport renewals for Gabriel and Jelelle
  • And, Gabriel and Kalayna have been able to rent a much nicer place!

It has felt like an ongoing and magical journey to have left all known regular money sources behind as well as our geography back in 2014, land on an off grid ranch for 19 months where we depleted our nest egg, and then to begin again!

Gabriel and Kalayna have been teaching english part time for the past two years and recently, Raianna and myself (Raphael) are also teaching english online in the mornings to children in China through an app called Palfish. We really wanted to be transparent about it all as an inspiration to others feeling a similar call to launch out into new ground where money and livelihood is concerned.

May’s numbers (in USD) for the 5 of us and SoulFullHeart looked like this:

$3,341 – English Teaching Revenues

$2,038 – Income for SoulFullHeart Sessions

$     46 – General Donations

$5,442 – Total Revenue for May

And June’s looked like this:

$5,007 – English Teaching Revenues

$1,887 – Income for SoulFullHeart Sessions

$   127 – General Donations

$7,021 – Total Revenue for June

I know these numbers still seem small for 5 people (even though they are steadily growing)  compared to what we used to live on in Vancouver, but what is so meaningful and magical to us is how alive it feels to be living in our passion purpose where livelihood and money is concerned. None of us have any feelings of being in dead end jobs, or old timeline careers that we need to ‘pay the bills’. All of it is sacred service and meaningful as each of us arises into new personal and group alchemy – manifesting on the outside what’s becoming more and more real on the inside.

The English teaching has provided us with an integrity bridge where we don’t feel pressure to serve people in SoulFullHeart session space who aren’t a fit for the work, but whom we need to make ends meet. In other words, we don’t have to ‘monetize’ SoulFullHeart.

This ground feels like it is ripening for so many people. Intuitively, we can get that the most secure financial plan would be to tie our financial needs to offering our deepest gifts in the world, but how do we embrace and walk out the steps to live that way? We can also get that offering something less than our deepest gifts in the world – ie. staying at a job that pays the bills, but suppresses our gifts, is not wise choice in the long run, but again, where and how does one begin to live their way into that?

Our approach to this that we live in every day and that we serve others to live their way into, is to get to know the parts of themselves in a deep and personal and nourishing and life changing way. It’s all in the relationship our parts of ourselves have to money that forms our patterns around money and livelihood. As we do this, previously unimaginable new possibilities open up as the stuck places shift and securities realign into new realities.

The word ‘career’ is a hint at this. The word means ‘to call’. Heeding the call is sacred journey. Entering one thing and leaving another is the journey that never ends. Money is probably the most grounded area to relive our way into new ways of life. If it can work in the money area, it can probably work in a whole lot of other areas, right. Someone once said that ‘money doesn’t lie’, and after all – it’s only energy, and all energy is sourced in love. Love doesn’t lie. It invites us into new realities.

We all want to say a big thank you to our supporters and the individuals who send us money! Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!

It feels important to acknowledge with gratitude the people and circumstances that have opened us out to this point, as we reach for our next places of wish list to inhabit:

  • We will be hosting regular monthly group circles here in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for people who are working with us to attend.
  • We are beginning to hold regular retreats here in Vallarta beginning this November as well as other locations in 2019 – Glastonbury, England; Vancouver, Canada and more.
  • Raphael and Jelelle hope to leave behind their current apartment here in Vallarta in favor of a nicer place soon.
  • Dentist work totaling 4,200 USD

Following Your Sacred Union Desires: Our Story

Ten years ago, I received an email from a man asking me to explore a relationship. As soon as I read his words, I felt my entire body flush with a warm, loving energy and an inner knowing. I already knew that this man’s heart and soul were SO big, generous, and powerfully good, that his intentions toward me were pure, and that his dedication to his own healing/awakening process through parts work matched my own. Before that time, parts of me couldn’t handle the mirror that he offered me of me and there just wasn’t enough self worth to claim our connection.

Finally, after three years of knowing each other, I felt a ‘yes’ to letting him in. I felt a ‘yes’ to seeing where the reflection of ME that he offered would take me.

THAT exploration and THAT man have brought me more joy, goodness, reflection, growth, and stepping into my own bigness than I ever could have imagined! Our union expands and deepens each day, with new grounds of co-leadership and collaboration continuing to open out and offer surprisingly meaningful gifts to ourselves and others!

Thank you to my BEloved, Raphael Awen, for every moment since then and all the future ones to come! I’m so glad I said ‘yes’ and I’m so grateful that you pursued what you wanted!

Ten years ago, my life took another big turn.

Today is Jelelle and I’s ‘nibble on cheese’ anniversary. I sent Jelelle an email that said ‘Would you like to connect soon? We could be like two mice nibbling on cheese.’ I knew it sounded a bit cheesy, but I was determined to be unedited and to be okay with whatever the outcome. In the three years prior, I’d brought her an attraction two other times, and though I accepted and respected the ‘no’ that came back, that didn’t stop me from trying again when another attraction arose. This time, I got a different response.

Today, I live in an ongoing honeymoon phase; a ‘pinch me’ reality. Is this really true? How can this be? What button did I push to make this happen? (part of me is still asking)

This woman who lived ten hours and a country away from was in my orbit to see occasionally over a three year period, but now, for the last ten years she’s hardly more than 25 feet away 24/7/365. We’ve left two countries behind, have plans for many more and can’t wait to walk into the next moments together to feel and experience what wants to be felt and experienced through us.

I so believe that one of the deepest things we came here to earth for, and that we chose human being experience for, was to be willing to enter the place of strong desire; to surrender and be vulnerable to having intense wants. Wanting a sacred romance is probably one of the biggest desires we can surrender to. I feel this to be true, because once you enter the sacred romance, it will call you to deeper and deeper desire and vulnerability and it won’t stop.

Your desire to admit what you want, to never deny it, even if you get told ‘no’, will be the stuff you’ll need to actually walk out the having of what you desire. Your willingness to long and pine for what you don’t have and find really hard to see anywhere in sight, will be what enables you to draw that.

You too, can have it all, for nothing more than the willingness to want it, and want it and want it some more.

Sacred Union Looks So Good On You!

A ‘Sacred Union’ can be simply defined as a sacrificing or giving up of your reality to make way for a new and arising reality.

Jelelle and I like to say that we are in a Sacred Union bond, and we feel that this is powerfully true, but there isn’t any spiritual ‘Sacred Union board of governors’ who can certify that this is or isn’t true. What makes it true for us is the sacredness and reverence that we bring to the bond as individuals, that then transacts mutually and opens out a bliss that we only dreamt of previously in our imaginative reach for what we most deeply desired. It is simply, our deepest dreams coming true, and then as that happens, continuing to dream deeper still.

This is the sacred sacrifice…the willingness to feel into your deepest desires and imagination of what your deepest bliss of a Sacred Union could look and feel like…in as many ways as you can imagine. The sacrifice comes into play as you are willing to let go of what you presently have (or don’t have) in favour of this deep inner all-consuming yearning.

Men are more wired (so we’re told) to do this sexually, and for men, that’s as good a place as any to open the imagination. What would heart and mind blowing sex look and feel like to you, and then because there are another 23 hours left in the day, what would being in life and love and that drippy sex glow look like and feel like to you? How willing are you to admit that you really want THAT? How willing are you to be ‘pierced through with your own desire’ and to pursue that… in real life, in real time, with a real woman? Only in that willingness are you willing to sacrifice your present reality to own and enter and alchemize a new one.

As a woman, what would it feel like to be with a man who is so into you, as the woman of his deepest dreams, who fully claims you and your arising life together that nothing comes a close second to the bliss of your Sacred Union bond?

Can you feel how you are the creator here? Sacred Union is not some spiritually attained place that you somehow pop into and suddenly you are hereafter declared enlightened. You ‘enlighten’ your path here one grounded and ever so fulfilling sacred step at a time.

When others look at Jelelle and I with admiration, they may feel a contrast between where they are at and where we are at and see us as having what they want, but this is them projecting their own heart and soul bigness onto us temporarily for safe keeping while they ‘go-in’ to their own heart and soul work to make the choices and feel all there is to feel to take this journey. The exciting thing in all of this is that once you begin that, you are on the Sacred Union path that IS the bliss, even if you are single, regardless of what your ‘attainment’ is or isn’t just yet. The humility and reverence you bring to the opportunity to be in this mutual reverence is what brings the ongoing deepenings.

You’ll have plenty of your own ‘out of this world, and don’t quite know where to file them’ kind of experiences soon enough, along with deepening healing challenges as well to invite you deeper into Sacred Union. You’ll need the conditioning too of these first initial courageous claims of what it is you most deeply want, to be in shape, so to speak, for the next steps. You are entering and choosing the domain of taking the sacred responsibility of manifesting your deepest dreams, knowing this is your sacred calling in the universe.

Can you think of anything more fun than that? Even whatever hell you need to go through to get here pales in comparison. You, in Sacred Union bliss are worth it all!

Why Ask Bliss For Anything More?

We embraced experience.

We embraced the experience of limitation to contrast our infinity; of time and space to contrast with our timelessness; of preference to contrast with our complete and total ambivalence; of awakening to contrast with our very deep and restful sleep.

Why would anyone or thing wish to awaken from the best sleep imaginable? Why ask bliss for something more?

Bliss realized that it was in motion, that it wasn’t static, that it was on a mission, with a purpose of expansion. It wanted to know and experience what it couldn’t know and experience unless it tried through you.

You are this bliss out having a field experiment, with some control limitations and observations going on; all the things that go on in a scientist’s laboratory. What can we come to know that we don’t already know?

We know there is something more, we just don’t know what it is!

You are this more. You are this riddle. You embraced this world of conditioning and ‘limitationing’ to exercise and exorcise your Godhood out into a fuller light of brighter day.

Now that you’ve done all of this; gone to all this trouble, will you follow through to take notes of what you are experiencing? That was the whole point of the experiment; to give yourself to the ‘solving’ of the riddle. If in the process of solving the riddle, you expand the riddle, then you have solved the riddle.

The riddle is that love and life wanted to be seen and noticed, rather than solved. It wanted to be pursued without ever being fully caught.

You get to be in never ending awe and wonder. You get to be in love, ever falling, ever in longing, ever wet with desire and appetite.

Feeling – The Portal Back To Essence

We only struggle with attachment to lesser things, because of our loss of familiarity with the greater things that we once knew, but struggle to remember.

Most of us have no conscious recall of those greater things, and those of us who do, must be patient with what feels like a very slow pace to a part of us who just wants to ‘fully remember already!’ Yet, the evidence is plain; only someone who’s suffered loss could attach to and treasure so intensely things that don’t really nourish.

Whether it’s a relationship with friend, mate, or family, or an attachment to a geography, or a house, or a career, we increasingly feel it as a stuck place that wants to relate without the intense attachment if we could only find a way to loosen up.

This kind of tight gripping that doesn’t allow much room for breathing, is further proof that we suffered some loss that polarized us to this over grasping in relationship.

Why can’t we relate with an open heart, willing to let come and willing to let go? Why can’t we long for things and be okay with them coming or not coming, with them coming sooner or later? Why do we need to have it now and why do we need to preserve it from loss or change at all costs?

As I was going about my day, one day this week, I was aware of a sadness in my field. As I lay down to rest and feel into it, I felt a distinct young part of me longing for return to something lost. Tears came from several parts of me inside wanting to open out past some internal barrier of forgetfulness, wanting to see and feel clearly just what is this loss. As I shared with Jelelle later, she offered to hold some space for this part of me, and I was quite surprised by what came next, as some of the deepest tears that I’ve ever known rolled out. I was taken back to my boyhood town and a knowledge that something magical occurred there with starbeing contact, that was then later closed down as I needed to enter a phase of going all into 3D life, Christianity, marriage and family life.

I was able to see again how my later life stages and roles of exemplary and motivated Christian, husband, father, and self employed contractor were all motivated by a subconscious seeking to return to a bliss that was lost. I was able to feel some subconscious motivation even affects all of my relationships to this very day.

This kind of remembering and the digestions that occur in these moments have been happening more and more for me as I awaken. This requires a willingness to feel and go into pain and sadness. The expectation that awakening should be ‘beyond suffering’ or just be bliss all the time is a deterrent to our actual awakening.

I believe all of us have this longing to return to bliss in one form or another, and even in several forms inside of us. As we garner the courage to get in touch with it and the strength to consciously hold such great longing and desire, it is in this ‘relationship with’ that we weren’t able to have before, where some magical strides occur for us in our growth.

We get to be here and we get to feel every feeling there is to feel. We get to feel every part of us holding trauma, whether something so stark as sexual abuse or something so off the radar as this loss of our source bliss from which we came.

Feeling is the tipping point. Feeling is the graduation point that harvests the purpose and intention of why we surrendered to our human experience, as well as why we surrendered to our perceived separation from the divine experience.

It is in feeling the sorrows where we find the direct portals back to our joy, and to our indescribable essence as infinite love.
