Exposing The Roots Of Sacred Union

Over the last few months it has felt true to turn inward, to heal, to be more self-contained and become more familiar with the relationship between my inner masculine and feminine rather than looking for a new relationship with another on the outside.

With this exploration I have found that there isn’t just one feminine and one masculine energy, but many each holding different frequencies that influence my whole. When there is a deep feeling and intimacy with these, there is room for them to breathe and heal. The healthier aspects harmonize and there is balance. Then daily activities and all types of relationships, especially the one with myself, have an ease and a flow.

This is a lifelong work in progress!

Through the ending of my last relationship, the recent death of my friend, and also my father’s passing two weeks ago, grief is current. There seems to be a continuing initiation into grief in ever-deepening layers alongside the discovery of the universal love portal that is found deep within it.

I feel that the reason the heart breaks is so it doesn’t have to stay in a safe, formal posture. It is saying, “You are holding me too small”. The shards of protection can journey into the ethers and if the heart is felt and loved it will re-form into a softer, more expansive, more supple healthiness.

In turn this helps see a Sacred Union between Spiritualness and Humanness. The Sacred Balance of recognition of the universal law of impermanence along with the deep human feeling of never wanting relationships or lives to end, and grief when they do.

I’m learning that although our conditioning tells us that we can only relate in the physical, there can be an ethereal connection to those who I have lost in the physical this year.

This confirms to me that love never dies.

I am in community and being with SoulFullHeart feels like another Sacred Union.

This union, sometimes similar to a romantic relationship, can become a mirror and help bring up hidden parts and unconscious patterns. From the knowing that whatever is being revealed can be a portal into deeper growth and expansion there is less panic about fixing this aspect. Instead, there is a more gentle process exploring this alone through meditation, journaling, talking with the group or in individual sessions.

As familiarity with the process increases more trust is arising and an ability to “hold my process” is there.

I know that there is a tendency in me that can look for everything in someone else, but it feels I’m starting to embody the knowing that everything is in me. There is less investment in the One and rather the Whole. This has to start in Sacred Union within, then to the whole which includes community, romance, and service.

Sacred union is such a blessed experience…for the gifts, the challenges, the MIRROR, it continually offers us! If we have drawn and signed up to experience it with a deep soul/counterpart mate, then the gifts seem to be exponentially revealed over time. The experience of relationships CAN be a bliss mess, though, of highs and lows. And they push up so much to feel and see about yourself and parts of you.

Exploring the grounds of inner sacred union, feeling/connecting with your inner masculine aspect and your inner feminine aspect (however they show up in the moment), DOES help to navigate outer sacred unions/relationships. As you heal the polarities within you between your masculine and feminine (as so often templated by birth parents), a sense of union is experienced between them. It is truly a beautiful experience that has its own self sustaining nourishment factor.

And then, add on a sacred union mate to experience this blooming and overflowing inner sacred union WITH you…and it truly provides growth and love experience like no other. I feel that you are more likely to draw this kind of mate experience when you are connected to your sacred union within in a deep way. The inner overflows to the outer.

The Inner Sacred Union Dance That Draws The Outer

Mate ache is real. The desire to be with someone romantically on the outside can’t really be subdued, especially when you have a strong sense that he or she is β€˜out there’ – the Sacred Union mate you’ve longed for, worked for, and want so much to serve love alongside.

I have such an ache. I’ve been in a Sacred Union before, not all that long ago. I’ve tasted the sweet nectar of deepening soul and heart resonance. The ease and the sacred triggers too of being with a man who is doing his inner β€˜work’ as you do yours. A man who is coming to love and treasure himself deeply, acknowledging and embracing every part of himself and every metasoul aspect too. A man who, because of his gentleness of heart, makes you cry out in tears of bliss and purging of emotional pain on a soul and this-life level too as you make love.

I ache because I’ve experienced what it can be and the healing that’s offered through the experience of it. I also have an ongoing template for what a long-lasting, consistently deepening Sacred Union looks and feels like from being in close community with Raphael and Jelelle Awen. It’s like exquisite torture in moments, witnessing their beautiful bond in all its ups and downs, ebbs and flows, processes inner and outer, and waiting for my own experience of this to come around again in a whole new way.

This depth of sacred romance isn’t an achievement. It’s not a mark of success or failure (as parts of me have felt before), or anything that can be accomplished with some kind of magic spell or silver bullet that suddenly brings in THE mate you’ve felt a longing for. It’s a crucible, actually. It’s something to bear while you bare all in the depths of this intimacy.

And this intimacy starts within.

Your inner masculine and feminine need to start relating with one another… they need to see each other. They need to find a way back into a union, a romance, between them. This inner Sacred Union is the seed for the flower of outer Sacred Union. It’s the honey that attracts the bee. And sometimes it takes a while for the bees buzzing in harmony with your growing frequency to tune into your fragrance.

Whenever I feel my longing for all of my inner work to bear this fruit, I’m reminded to look to my inner masculine and feminine. I’m reminded that any validation that’s wanted on the outside, needs to solidify inside. I’m reminded that my inner Sacred Union needs to β€˜buzz’ and hum in its own frequency or romantic satisfaction. I’m reminded that this is what brings some soothing energies to the void of missing and wanting β€˜him’ on the outside and keeps any parts of me from grabbing at a man and instead letting us come together and discover each other when it’s truly time for that to happen.

This is an ongoing process. There’s not really a final place of arrival where the Sacred Union inside is perfectly set up now. It’s got its own ebbs and flows, ups and downs, ins and outs. It has its own phases of tension and conflict. It’s just as sacred to behold as anything that manifests on the outside. And, it’s the love that you will always return to, even if romantic love on the outside collapses or completes.

Entering The Season Of Mother Mary

The Fall season softens something in my heart. It’s the season I associate with Mother Mary. Hers is a tender invitation to go inward and feel, fast if you feel like (in whatever ways that means for you), and just soften the edges around the parts of you that get understandably protective at times.

Mother Mary’s energies of deep compassion are an invitation to β€˜come as you are’. This means feeling all you’re feeling in this and any moment, without concern about self-image, feeling any unworthiness that arises in Her presence, in the midst of letting in Her exquisite love.

Parts of me can have edgier moments sometimes, even after years of inner work. Sometimes it’s a Metasoul sister of mine in another timeline who is struggling with grief and reaction. Sometimes it’s a part of me who is scared to lose control and let go, whatever that means to them in any given moment. Sometimes it’s simply that I need to go inward and just be. Mother Mary’s energies, being so non-confrontive yet very powerful in their space-holding nonetheless, support this softening process for me as I open my heart to feel myself.

And when I open my heart to myself in this way, something magical happens… I can open my heart more to others, feel their side of things easier, and let in compassion for what they must be wrestling through at times too.

I think it’s more than appropriate to bring up Mother Mary’s example during such a time on this planet as this. There’s a lot to tune into, to allow into the heart space, to help the anguish be felt deeper and move too into another form when that becomes possible.

I’m honoured to be walking on grounds where she walked in her lifetime. To feel my soul’s connection to her powerful Magdalene lineage. To feel how humbling it is that I’m very much in my own journey of embodying this deeper in this lifetime. To be offering these energies from this place in particular feels powerful. She shines like a beacon for all who are ready to let in what’s possible in their own heart-healing efforts and desires, and is also a beacon of what’s possible relationally, between every being on this planet.

Autumn Equinox Energies Invite Balance Of ‘Old’ And ‘New’ WithIN

This Equinox feels particularly powerful for bringing into balance the ways in which we look at ourselves, our parts, our Metasoul aspects. We’re being invited to bring what’s β€˜passed’ with us, what’s β€˜old’ with us into the NEW we’re always invited into.

It’s the journey into the new that churns up the β€˜old’. It’s meant to do so, to bring us back into what’s been real for us even in our darkest of soul journeys in other lifetimes, not to simply β€˜go heal it’ and β€˜release’ it, yet to get to know it all intimately. To bring everything, every being we discover into love within. To bridge it/them all into what can be real for us and for them in this new now.

The Equinox is always about bringing into balance… masculine and feminine, old and new. What facilitates and holds this process is love. Love’s lens is the one in which we can see the equality of importance in all things, all aspects of ourselves, all energies we’ve had and want to have. Love IS the great equalizer, the balancer. And today we are so invited to really feel that and let that in… as we always are when our hearts open up to deeper healing and our souls choose to align with that in different phases and processes as well.

It’s easy to access these ‘old’ soul stories, patterns, and scenes here in such a magical part of the UK… Glastonbury alone has helped me personally feel some very deep pieces yet also, this visit to Avebury yesterday was profound in bringing in the ‘old’ too. I could feel still some reactions surfacing to what used to be versus what is and how the energies, though still powerful and present, need to be uncovered somehow instead of so easy to access and feel. Through feeling this mourning of what ‘was’, I can feel myself landing more in what IS and the goodness of that too… and of course, this has been true for me in many different processes I’ve had over the years!

Inner & Outer Feminine/Masculine Union Balance

Oh, how the inner feminine will want to go soft at times. To cry. To grieve. To REALLY feel what is going on that causes her heart to ache. She will BE with the longings and the missing without trying to fix or manage. Then, she can feel judged as oversensitive or too reactive by others and try to suppress her feelings….usually without success and not for very long. She may lash out in frustration, dissatisfaction and sense of injustice that her feelings have not been given enough space when they haven’t within her own heart.


And the inner masculine, then, doesn’t know what to DO with her or how to help. He feels locked in and also locked out, especially if she becomes protective of her feelings and won’t share. He just has an impulse to solve it, as if he could fix himself if he can fix her. He wants to be seen and appreciated by her always for his efforts, yet also fears disappointing her and being inadequate. He resists her tenderness and his own at times, afraid of being hurt again.


This distorted dance of inner feminine and masculine seems to be so common, so conditioned, and modeled for us in so many ways, starting from our own parents. I felt recently new layers of sorting through of the inner masculine and inner feminine dynamics within myself, triggered by being here on these powerful Michael Divine Mascline, and Mary Divine Feminine lines. I have also seen these masculine/feminine sortings out in those in my small community of beloveds, in my relationship with Raphael (although we are in a current blissy merging phase after some initial conflicts when we got here to Avalon) and in women I have met with for sessions recently.


There’s nothing wrong in the push and the pulls, yet it can be challenging when these energies within are not on the same ‘page’, the desires are diverging, and conflict arises. This is the same mixed experience as what so commonly occurs on the outside in relationships as well. I have so learned that experience of relationships with others can’t be shifted into new grounds until it is from within. New and deeper possibilities of intimacy arise initially from within and can then be transacted with others rather than just a focus on the outside dynamics, which is so common.


I always come back to the inner union to see what its status is when there are mixed feelings going on. As I hold space for my inner feminine (however she is needing to show up) and my inner masculine (who is quite soft at this point), they can find their connection with me, the Divine, and each other. They can move into their dance again, in flow, and ultimately….as is always the desire…into balance.


This reunion within then flows into my sacred union relationship with Raphael with new grounds of connection and exploration now possible. One day I am in tears and holding space for my feminine and bridging to my masculine so he can be felt too. And the next, I am in bliss lovemaking and connection energies with Raphael. From within and then out draws the experience of joy, bliss, and balance with a beloved mate that feels like a deep merging even while you remain two separate consciousnesses.

The ache for sacred union is consciously felt in many people…a ‘mate ache’, I have called it. Yet, the desire for inner union of your masculine and feminine may be less known and cultivated. That inner union ache is powerful to follow and does seem to ultimately draw your precious sacred union partner too.

Changing The Climate Within

β€˜Climate’ feels like a very powerful word at the moment. It denotes and connotes so many different things.

Environmentally, the Western US is engulfed in ash (almost literally when you look at satellite images, and especially if you live there). The speculation and information of the causes fuel other fires that reside in the body politic.

Socially, climate is a reference to the energy of a tension or ease within a collective. Right now, from the media’s point of reference, the temperature is rising for discord and chaos as the winds of polarity spark their own political wildfires.

Globally, a pandemic of fear (whether real, produced, or both) is shifting the climate of what was once considered β€˜normal’. It has changed how we relate to, and hold, our deep need for sovereignty, freedom, and well-being.

Many are being told what to believe and feel is right and true. We are being asked to β€˜take a stand’ and β€˜have a voice’. The energy may be intense, or it may be invitational. Camps are being formed, strategies laid, and lines being drawn.

Others are looking for truth and understanding. What is real and what is false? A deep desire to just get to a rational bottom of what the hell is really going on. This group is pushed and pulled in many ways. Some get more confused, others get more clarity. Do they join a camp, or form another one all together?

In the end, how these external climates affect your internal climate is the process that matters the most to me. I can say that unequivocally for myself, but that may not be true for someone else who is mired in thicker external circumstances.

I feel compassion and understanding for that. It is a fucking deep state of soul soup we all find ourselves in. This is serious shit, yet it can be given air, and even joy, from within but that is a dedicated practice and choice to rise above the fray, IF that is what you really want.

It may feel impossible from the evidence that is presenting itself to a part of you who can only see the external climate and circumstance. I get that. I can’t convince it otherwise. I am calling to the You that does want to create and BE in something different on the inside. That, from my soul’s perspective, is how real change can effectively and quantumly be evoked and embodied.

The Magna Carta of true sovereignty lies within. It is hard to let that in amidst everything that is blowing in your direction. I want something new for myself, for you, and for the world. It has to start with each of us. We must create our own pandemic and wildfire of Love from inside. Imagine then what is truly possible.

Masculine & Feminine Interdependence

An impulse to do something, to express something is a masculine kind of outbound energy. This energy needs and requires a feminine inbound energy of being and letting-in to sustain and validate its need to do and express.

The masculine doing and expressing by itself runs out of gas, and must vulnerably return to the feminine to get its needs met.

Likewise, the feminine inbound energy of letting in love and ability to BE in being wants to express and do as a natural extension of itself. The feminine however can’t disconnectedly express and do just for the sake of feeling powerful, or worthy, or right. It wants and needs a higher frequency.

In this way, the masculine and the feminine are interdependent, and in that, we see the basis for Sacred Union, within each of us, for we all possess both masculine and feminine aspects/polarities of being – each of which longs for union, for a higher way.

The incompleteness of one is the portal to the other.

Vulnerability (the ability to admit need) is the grace that permits the masculine and feminine to find Sacred Union dance.

This is true inside and outside.

Maybe the most powerful common denominator between the masculine and feminine is this shared mutual need – this wound state one remains in without the other.

This energy feels so palpable to me since arriving here in Glastonbury in the UK, a place of deep feminine energies and converging soul aspect timelines. One can feel the still unresolved lingering between the feminine and the masculine wanting to find its reunion in actual transactional grounds of real people expressions and relationships.

We are this coming together. We are the cast and crew of this production being put on by consciousness itself.

Love Is Magic: A Message From Avalon

‘Magic’ doesn’t need to mean anything other than the powerful ways in which you can arise for yourself, life, and love, and others can arise for you.

‘Magic’ doesn’t need to be stirred by a hand or wand. Magic is a flow of intention, fueled by love, watered by love, lived into from the love within you.

‘Magic’ is who and what you are beyond the 3D anchoring, the protective 3D shell of existing in only the day-to-day without much energy to reach beyond into the beyond. Yet, magic exists in 3D too, grounds there, when received as such.

‘Magic’ lives in your beholding of yourself and others. The intimate love relationship with parts of you. The ways in which your inner work opens you up to more love experiences with yourself, with others, with the Divine.

Thank you, Avalon, for your lessons in this that are already integrating and grounding IN… being sacredly remembered! ❀

The Challenge To Feel (VIDEO): Conversations With Men

“Feeling is really hard! It is really challenging!”

These were words I spoke in the third video of the Conversations With Men series with Raphael Awen. In it we talk about the challenges for many of us, especially men, to get down to deep and vulnerable feeling. To actually feel our feelings.

Raphael mentions in the beginning that we are all emotive beings in constant feeling. The question is are we really feeling the feelings and being honest and vulnerable with them? What is feeling as opposed to reactions and/or states of being?

As boys (and girls, too!) we are conditioned to suppress our more sensitive emotions, our true heart reality. This suppression tends to result in anger or depression (numbness), or both! Rage becomes an emotion that is normalized in men rather than hurt.

The inner boy’s feelings are not welcome and sequestered to the shadow where hurt foments into rage. A protection forms that pushes away or shuts down in a myriad of ways. For the more spiritually inclined man, the activation of the upper chakras in cahoots with the lower chakras can create a bypassing of the most human heart chakra.

This may form as an abusive teacher/healer/mate. A narcissism is formed as a protection against feeling the pain of the inner boy’s trauma. There may be a self-destructive path that leads to addictions, self/other-harm, or possible suicide (one of the leading causes of death among younger men).

If we could create an environment where it is safe for men to feel what they are feeling as they are feeling it, with the ability to process those feelings as parts of themselves rather than being fused to them, I believe we would see a new calvary of men that have the wear-with-all to co-create a new world with the feminine in sacred collaboration.

A tall order? Maybe. A deep desire and need? Yes. I feel the challenges, I am challenged, yet with the support of like-hearted men and women in community, I am finding my way. I believe that other men too could find their way when the desire to truly heal the heart becomes the single most important thing they feel they can offer the world.
